Short version: no accounts, nothing about you on our servers.
What stays in your browser
Your watchlist, portfolio holdings, price alerts and the last inputs of the calculators are saved in your browser's localStorage on this device. Recently fetched prices are cached in sessionStorage for a minute or two to avoid hitting rate limits. None of it is sent to us. You can wipe it all here:
Market data
Your browser loads prices directly from the public CoinGecko API, the fear and greed index from Alternative.me and Ethereum gas data from a public Ethereum RPC node (publicnode.com). Those services see your IP address like any website you visit, but not your holdings or alerts.
AI summaries
The "Summarise today's market" and "Review my portfolio" buttons only run when you press them. They send the market snapshot, or your holdings summary (coin names, amounts, values and percentages, plus any note you type), to our server, which forwards it to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to write the text. We don't store these requests; standard server logs may keep technical details such as timestamps for a short time.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits. It is cookieless and doesn't track you across sites.
Not advice
PortfolioTrack shows data and explanations. It is not financial, investment or tax advice.
