How to read the price table
Price is a volume-weighted average across exchanges in US dollars. 1h, 24h and 7d are the percentage changes over those windows. Market cap is price × circulating supply, and the table is ranked by it, which is why a coin priced at a fraction of a cent can sit above one priced in the hundreds. 24h volume is the dollar value traded in the last day; thin volume means a price can move a lot on a few trades.
Tap any column header to sort. Coins with a dedicated page (Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, Dogecoin and 15 others) are linked, with longer charts, supply facts and a quick converter.
Tracking without an account
Everything personal on PortfolioTrack lives in your browser. The portfolio tracker values your holdings at live prices and shows profit and loss against what you paid; price alerts ping you with a notification and a sound while a tab is open. Clearing your browser data, or the "clear" buttons on those pages, wipes it all.
Questions people ask
Where do these live cryptocurrency prices come from?
Prices, market caps and volumes come from the public CoinGecko API, which aggregates trades from hundreds of exchanges into a volume-weighted average. Your browser fetches them directly and refreshes the table every 60 seconds while the tab is open.
Do I need an account to track crypto prices here?
No. There is no signup, no email and no login. Your watchlist, portfolio and price alerts are stored in your own browser (localStorage) and never sent to us.
How many coins does the tracker cover?
The live table covers the 250 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation, re-ranked every refresh. Search and the watchlist work across all 250.
Why is a coin's price slightly different on my exchange?
Each exchange has its own order book, so prices differ by a small amount between venues. An aggregated price is an average across many markets, which is why it rarely matches any single exchange to the cent.
What does the 7-day chart next to each coin show?
It is the hourly price over the past seven days. Green means the price is higher now than seven days ago, red means lower. The dot marks the latest price.
Is market cap the same as how much money is invested in a coin?
No. Market cap is simply the current price multiplied by the circulating supply. It says what all coins would be worth at the last traded price, not how much money flowed in. Our market-cap page lets you play with that formula.
